Something new is on the horizon. The Wildlands beckon, will you answer its call?

We are so excited today to announce that we will be creating a new wargaming universe! Wildlands has been in our minds for a long time now, and we we're just dying to tell you about it! Wildlands is an entirely new universe from Department of Wargaming and follows a completely different timeline in a completely different way. This new universe is all about mystical creatures and how their lives culminate on the battlefield.

This project, like any universe spanning adventure, will be a big one. We already have lots of ideas floating about and some of the key parts of the universe already locked in, but there's still a long way to go. Following this we'll be creating and showing off lots of cool art as well as details about the universe, it's inhabitants, and the games that lie in its future!

We also have even more exciting news, this time, Amber will be joining the creative process for the universe! She has already started creating creatures as well as helping with ideas and the direction of the games. Whilst Amber has already been a massive part of Tiny Conflict, she will take up an even bigger role for Wildlands!

What to Expect

The Wildlands are magical realms, all different in nature. The realms are at war, civilisation is prominent across the realms but very few can be regarded as civil! Mystical creatures of the sky embattled with empires of the land whilst gargantuan beasts of the shadows take on the hordes from the depths!

​

There will be absolutely zero human races, characters, or creatures in Wildlands. The focus is entirely on the weird, wonderful, and original. The universe itself will encompass hundreds of different creatures and we want all of them to be original and different what has been seen before. Despite this, there will still be lots of inspiration from classic fantasy settings, mythological creatures, and even some of the more horror inspired settings from the likes of H.P Lovecraft.
