At Fringe, our mission is to connect and empower tabletop gaming communities by fostering local connections, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging creativity. We provide a platform for artists, writers, and creators to share and inspire new ideas while working to make games and gaming spaces accessible to everyone. Through our annual fringefest event alongside Salute, Europe’s largest wargaming show, we celebrate the hobby and strengthen ties between local, national, and international communities.
Fringe Stuff!
Where to Find Fringe
Fringe is all about creating collaborative spaces and environments that foster creativity. For that reason, we put on a whole host of different events in different locations to get great people in front of great games, to have a great time!

Fringe: London - Where Fringe started! In the bustling big city of London it can still be hard to find that true collaborative experience between artists, gamers, creators, and hobbyists. Fringe is the solution.
London events are hosted roughly every month with each event focussing on a different game to kitbash, learn, and play each time!
Fringe: South West - Pass me the dice Gromit! From the city that brought you Wallace and
Gromit and the Concorde comes Fringe's second region, SW! A hub for many in the West of England and South Wales, SW turns the Fringe silliness to the max!
South West events are hosted roughly every 3 months and use the same Fringe formula but with sillier accents and cider!

Fringe: Cyber - The true epicentre for all things wacky and random when it comes to Fringe. Using the Fringe Discord server, Cyber is a space for everyone to come together, share, and create new ideas no matter how far away you are!
Cyber Fringe events can be very spontaneous or impromptu, but an official Hobby Hangout and rotation of other exciting events, talks, and gaming happen every month!

The Big One - Fringe Fest!
Fringe Fest is an annual celebration of all things hobby and "Fringe". Using the weekend of Salute as an excuse to get the best of the indie wargaming community (all of it) together, Fringe Fest is 3 days of games, friends, and art. The main event kicks off on the Friday with a booked out venue for a morning of classes by talented community members, as well as long form games like Inquisitor. Then in the afternoon and evening, all hell brakes loose as everyone descends to play game demos, playtest games, and community favourites, as well as a vast table for kitbashing, painting, and more. The most important part of Fringe Fest is the community. It's a great time for sharing, seeing online people in person, and having a laugh!
Fringe Fest 2025 is being held at Signature Brew in Haggerston and is an exclusive venue for the whole day!
The Saturday is Salute day where many members are either promoting/selling their own things at the event, or walk around the show together in little groups. This is a perfect way to empty your wallet and have a nice time surrounded by Europe's largest Wargames event! Saturday evening, Fringe occupies a nearby pub to the Excel Centre for more wackiness plus lots of drinks!
Sunday is, for good reason, The Hobby Hangover! This chill afternoon event takes on a very mellow vibe as people come down and recover from the nights before. No matter if it's in a cafe or some member's garden, a chill time chatting and playing games is always a great way to spend a Sunday!
